We file the night of/day after my husband receives his W2. His company lets them go on January 31st.

I haven't got my W-2 form back, neither has DH yet. By law they have till January 31st so I am hoping we both get ours ASAP so we can file because there was a problem last year because of the tax problem they had last year too and approving shit. It took us till MARCH to get ours back.

we dont file until April... we have to wait for K-1s to be done and then sent to DH.

You can go ahead an efile now but it wont be looked at until I think January 10th or later.
