I think I know why I got hives. My ds was prescribed amoxicillin for his double ear infection yesterday morning. I have been the one giving him his medicine and I am allergic the cillin family. That is the only connection I can see.

Next time, try to remember to ask the doctor for a few pair of latex gloves. Maybe that will help. Stores also still carry those old school, yellow Playtex gloves women always used to use to wash dishes. Hives are miserable.
