I was just wondering if slavery were to start up again how many of you would become slave owners.

It has to do with... who would be the slaves? You don't think it is wrong to require another human being to give you eternal servitude without pay. So the question is why? Is it because you find certain people less deserving of freedom? If so, which people? From which groups of people would you require eternal servitude?

I'm not rich enough to have slaves...but if it were the thing of the times...I wouldn't have a slave even if I could.
