Tax refund....

My husband was laid off for 5 months this year and this will be our first year receiving a refund since before we had children! We're due to get just over $9000 back! Most will be going into savings in case he is laid off again next year (union plumber), but I'm really excited to get new couches and help my father out with the big annual family vacation! Yayyyy! For once, I can be one of the happy ones during tax time haha!

We pay in about $10,000 a year. We don't get anything back. It makes me sad lol :(

I don't know for sure, but I was messing around on turbo tax and unless something completely strange happens it should be pretty close to right. I know exactly how much he was paid, paid into taxes, mortgage interest, etc.
