My dd has finally outgrown her MJ dresses , i have already ordered new ones to replace what she has outgrown but , my sil is wanting to buy my dd's old ones for 5$ a dress that seems a bit low to me , anyone have any experience re selling MJ dresses ?

How much are they new?

No idea what those are.

So, I googled. They are really cute.
Obviously I know nothing about the resale value, lol.
Five bucks does seem low, though, since they are a little spendy.

I have 2 boys. lol  I'm completely clueless when it comes to little girls fashion. lol

Maybe you should post pics. I personally wouldn't spend that much on used clothes...no matter how cute.

their prices seem to be a giant secret.

if you dont want to sale to her then go to a consignement shop and see if you can get a better offer and then decide if the money offered is ok

 Ebay...I've sold some of my Rosalina dresses on there...that's the best re-sale prices I can find, other than specific consignment sales...like mom-to-mom sales...

@ $50 + new,  reselling I wouldn't take anything under $20 a dress.

They range in price usaully 48- 70 a dress, but they are well made .
