I use anon when I'm trying to be nice; I want everyone to continue to think that I'm evil and heartless.

lol!!!    i admit that i do use the anon feature when the subject is "sensitive" or embarassing to me.  but i never use it just to be mean spirited or condescending.  and i try to never be flat out rude no matter what im under.

I like the anon button. Bitchy people are going to be bitchy with, or without it anyway.

you have a point there, but i do think that some that wouldnt say certain things under their SN use the anon button to be an ass to others.

you can close your account and open a new one with a more desirable name.  idk how much you have going on on here that you might not want to start over though.

I'm not "that" kind of anon...I am very civil. I just can't post under my screenname without my MIL googling my screen name and reading what I say....
