I have 2 tattooes on my back/shoulder blade/neck and for the most part it wasn't bad at all until they got right on my spine but even then it was still bearable.

I volunteer to save lives; What do you do?

I have one between my shoulder blades. I hardly felt any pain.

^^ this one is on my left shoulder

this was my first tattoo, on my right shoulder.. i don't/didn't have a lot of "meat" there, and didn't know what to expect, so after awhile it was pretty tender.. all tattoos hurt, and you earn every one you get..if they didn't hurt, everyone would have one ;-) gl!

It wasn't bad. My SO does tattoos and did a dragonfly on the back of my shoulder. It hurt starting out, but after a few minutes it kind of went numb and it just felt like vibrating

It was AWESOME!!! Just the parts on my shoulder blade hurt the worst.. but really the pain is played up by others so much. Then when they start it's like "Oh.. really? that's it?"
