We have a three month old daughter and she is really the prettiest baby I have ever seen. Her eyes sparkle and she is my world.
Me and dh are having a problem though. He doesnt want her ears pierced. I do. In my family, all little girls get their ears pierced. I really think that earrings would add some extra sparkle to her eyes. SHe is beautiful now but earrings make any little girl just stand out! imo anyway.
Well, Monday he is leaving to go out of town to work. I will be keeping the car as he is riding with a friend. I am going to take her to Claire's and get them pierced without him. I mean what is he going to do, punish me?
I really think this is something that I can decide without him. I dont care what he thinks. I want her ears pierced.

What a mature choice. Your marriage must be awesome. Not.

You obviously have no respect for him, so how good can it be?

I would respect my dh's wishes on this one, but that's me. I am one to wait until my daughter is older to ask for it done, and make a mommy/daughter day out if it. I am curious though....why does what you want trump your dh's want?

It's his kid too.  He has a right to weigh in.  I got my ears pierced when I was 13 and it was my choice.  If I had a daughter I would all her to make decisions regarding her body when she was able to do so.
