Is this weird/immature?

I want to braid SIL's hair. It usually takes a couple of hours. We were thinking I would give DH a weekend alone an I would take the kids an spend the weekend with the in-laws. Clearly we get along great and that's why I am willing to do it. But does it seem weird to have a "sleep over" at the age of 23? SIL is 18 if that matters lol

No.  My sister and I would always have sleep overs until I moved 1700 miles away lol..   We're close and our DD's are only about 18 days apart.

It is not weird to me. But I have "sleep overs" still and I'm 23 with 3kids.

My BFF and I still had sleepovers when her DH worked out of town and my DH (then SO) lived two hours away. We would set up an extra bed for my DD and *gasp* BFF and I even slept in the same bed. Both our DD's would play and we would have some sort of girl time even though we still tended to our daughters.

That sounds so fun! I have "sleepovers" with my daughter in her room all the time. She's only 9 and it's fun so I bet you'll have a blast with your sil and you get to braid her hair? I'm jealous.

You're never too old for a sleepover! When our husbands were deployed, my best friend and I would have them all the time, and once we had our sons, they came too. Literally, I'd stay at her house Monday through Wednesday, and then she would be at my house Friday through Sunday. We enjoyed it, and it helped pass the time until the deployment ended.
