could you pay all of your bills off of minimum wage??? edit

so ladies could you?? what is minimum wage in your state and could all of your bills be paid off of it. In florida minimum wage in florida is now $7.79, it went up 12 cents last week.

It's 9.04 here in WA.  And not even close.  We're paying college tuition for one kid, an old student loan for my bil, our mortgage is $1250 a month, car payment (only one not paid for) $460 a month, gas/electric runs about $300 a month (much less in summer).  Gas for cars runs about $250 a month, car insurance $400 a month (5 vehicles).  Then there is water, sewage, garbage, property taxes, so no, we couldn't.

$8.00 here in California think, not sure as I am salaried and haven't worked min wage since I was 16 in 1986.

and, no couldn't pay my bills on that even at 40 hrs/week.

No way.  I'd barely be able to make my mortgage payment let alone pay any utilities or car payments.
