How Come SAHMS Make All The Top Conversations?

 Everytime I log on to CM I see another SAHM post had made a top conversation.

I am a SAHM and have been for many years.Why the SAHM obsession from everyone?From what we do all day,to posts about we are ruining our lives,or resenting our kids??Are you kidding me!

Can anyone say anything nice about us?Like how devoted we are to our family,how much we love our husbands and kids,the sacrafices we make to be at home,and how beloved and appreciated we are by our family.

I get tired of the put downs and assumptions.

I'm SAHM too and totally agree with you. I try not to tell people I'm a SAHM to avoid a bashing!

That's what I always say! If a sahm's job is so easy why do people spend soooo much money on daycares and nannies?

I'm a teacher and home all summer. My life is way easier when I'm a housewife all summer vs a working woman and still responsible for my home during the school year. I respect stay at home moms and what they do. I think its great they stay home but I don't like it when they assume working women have it easy

Being a wm I have been told I don't care enough about ds. I let other people raise him, blah, blah, blah. unfortunately it goes both ways. We all get crap for what we do and don't do. I know what works for me and my ds so I ignore the haters.

Idk, I love to work and hang with other adults so being a sahm would be rough on me. I did it for 6 months and went crazy. But more power to the women who can do it, I think it's great.

sacrifices? sacrifices???

when you get 4 hours of sleep in between work shifts, and when your work schedule only allows you to see your kids for 2 hours every few days you can call it sacrifice.

i was a sahm for 6 years. i would love to give up my sacrifice to be able to be one again.
