We are thinking of having a 4th baby. My family is against it completely that I'm spreading myself to thin with 4 kids. That I can't spend enough time and attention to that many.

Don't care what they think. You will be the one dealing with 4 kids, not them.

I think that is up to the parents to decide. If you have 3 and feel like you can handle another, then no it is not too many. For some people 1 is too many, and for others they can have 10 kids and still be fine.

i have 4 plus a sd for a grand total of 5 :) not to mention 3 dogs 6 horses and a loving supportive husband, and my kids would love for me to have another baby. it all depends on you and how you feel. you are the one that will be tending to the kids not the others in your family...... i say go for it youonly live once and you will only have as many as God has intended you to have :)

We have 4, and were lucky enough to get 2 boys and 2 girls. If you can't afford 4 or don't think you can handle 4, then don't do it.
