At what age would you stop bathing with your son. My son is 14 months and we still bathe together because obviously he's too young to know any different. We did kangaroo care in the nicu and breastfed for a short time, I don't think this is any different. What do you guys think?

I'll probably stop when I have the time to shower alone. DS is only 17 mos so he has no clue and wont for a while.

Quoting mrsrodgers0703:

It's skin to skin contact :) he was too small to nurse, so I wore a big button up shirt and buttoned him up inside it in just his diaper. It's so babies get that contact with mom even if they can't breastfeed. My husband even did it sometimes :)

What is kangaroo care? It sounds awesome but I'm sorry it was in the NICU :(

We did that too.  For the same reason. :)

I never bathed with my boys.  I never saw a reason to.  So I never had to stop.
