We do not own the appliance....our hands are the dishwashers....

I have one, but I rarely use it. It is quicker and easier to just do it by hand.

I do but haven't used it in well over a year. Frankly, it takes the same amount of time for me to just wash them by hand than it did to load the flippin thing. And they seem cleaner to me.

Yup. I have a thousand more things I would rather do than wash dishes all day. There are 5 of us and lots of pots & pans.
