i want to know why my kids teacher is GONE

My third graders teacher has been gone constantly this school year. She's in her mid fifties otherwise I'd think she was pregnant or parting or on drugs. She will be gone sometimes a couple weeks at a time and refuses to say why. We've only been back since Wednesday and she's only been there two days!!! I know I'm a stay at home mom but when I worked I didn't get days off like that. I got the teachers phone number from someone I know that is her second cousion and she got mad when I called and the teacher told me not to call! What the hell?! You're a teacher, you're supposed to answer school and he questions. I guess she doesn't care about my kid. The priniipal refuses to tell me why the teacher is out so much. As a parent, I deserve to know. How can I make them tell me?

She probably didn't expect to hear that she was acting like a raving psycho stalker. It's one thing to be concerned. If you are that concerned then take it up with the school directly. If you are still concerned then switch the class your child is in. That's what normal people without entitlement issues and stalker issues do. Calling the teacher directly without first contacting the school or discussing the situations other options was so far over the top it's crazy. How would she feel if her privacy was violated like that? It's like another post said. She would be on here bitching about that. 

I think this woman (the OP) has entitlement issues, thinks that she should know everyone's business, and doesn't understand how to handle things in an adult mature manner. There are better ways to deal with situations like this than showing your ass and proving yourself to be an entitled looney toon.

If I was the teacher, I would knock what brains my cousin had clean out of her dumba** head. What a stupid, stupid B***** both of you were. The cousin for giving out he phone number and you for calling. 

Hell what makes you think the Teacher would tell you when her own cousin doesn't know. Get a life. Quit blaming someone else for your failing child. Only reason I know that you would bitch about a class having a sub would be because your child is flunking. Otherwise it doesn't matter who teaches.
