Is what me and SO is getting back in taxes. We went to H&R block last night, the IRS won't view them until the 22nd so we have to wait... but we don't mind. LOL... (:

Actually, we might have made closer to 16k this year, it was a much better year than last year. I'll know more when we get all the info into the computer. We are struggling to get a business off the ground(with basically no start-up capital) so sacrifices must be made. Luckily, so far we have pretty low living expenses and we're very frugal.

How is your husband getting that much back? My husband files head of household as well and claims two children. How much did he pay into federal tax, etc? I'm not trying to pry too much into your finances I've just never understood how people get this much back. What is your annual income?
