 agreed. i think that race, sex, religion, etc. should play absolutely NO role in anything from employment to education. I think it is sick that companies feel it is required to maintain a certain level of diversity so they hire minorities rather than being able to hire the most qualified (I find this racist as well harmful to the company that is required to hire a minority even if they are not the best candidate for the position).

I think it did a lot of good. Sad that people had to be FORCED to recognize other races as human and deserving of equal rights. Where would we be if it had not been put into place?

 In theory, I agree. However, in theory, Communism is a good idea, but it does not work out so well in real life. I think people who agree with this have never been in a certain gender or race dominated field and can run their mouths because they really have no clue.

 You realize WOMEN are part of Affirmative Action, too, right?
