How much were you willing to pay for your childs first birthday cake? Or how much did you pay? Did you have two cakes?

I made ds cakes. I spent maybe 5 bucks. I made cakes that looked like a monkey. :)

I wouldn't pay more than $20 I made my third child's first birthday cake for less than $15 with homemade fondant. I now make cakes for every birthday for my kids and make them for my friends kids and do custom orders here and there.

225. It was adorable and totally worth it IMO and I will be doing it again with my second. Oh and ya they threw in the mini cake for free.

Okay my price is sounding about right. She charged me 250 dollars in the end, the cake originally was 380. I had to talk down the price because 300 is insane!!
