I can't lie, it was hilarious. She said it wrong, then corrected herself. She's two. Completely dh's fault, he says it all the time. He's been working on his filter since that happened. Lol

Quoting edelweiss23:

I will have to keep that in mind!

My DD has never met her bio-dad but she knows what he did, so she herself has dubbed him the bad daddy.

Kids are like sponges.. It's horrible.

Quoting edelweiss23:

Yeah, I hear you there!!!

I had to start censoring my mouth after my divorce!!!

Quoting Anonymous:

My DD recently said to me...  which broke my heart and made me realize I need to start watching what I say around her..

"If my bad daddy comes to take me away, I'll tell my good daddy to punch him in his face"

"I'm just too wound up!" said by a frustrated five year old, who kept hurting herself while bouncing off the walls.

It's been hard on my girls since the divorce. They were old enough to know what he did and why he left and it totally ripped them apart.

They are still, 4 year later getting over the hurt of it all and I find myself defending him slightly to them when they say they don't like him etc.

My dd, last year at my dad's, was sitting st the table coloring and jabbering about something. When suddenly she said helluva. Wasn't even in context. My dh, dad and i looked at each other, tried not to laugh, but lost it, when she kept talking like nothing happened.
