Do you think the flu shot would do any good now! To flu shot or not...

I am seriously debating taking my son to get his flu shot tomorrow, question though, would it do any good this late in the season? WHat do you guys think?

I've gotten dd the flu shot once. I don't see the point in it. For the last two years, I've decided to not get the girls one. We've all had the flu this season, except for dd2 (21 months).

It's up to you, weigh the pros and cons.

We aren't getting them , there is a new strand of the flu virus that the shot doesn't protect against and it hit my area bad . Everyone here seems to have the flu.

last year I did not get the flu shot and I got the flu I never got the flu in my life and its sucked ,I would take him my kids  done miss

We don't do flu shots. But, I heard the strain going around now is resistant to the shot.

news here says it's not too late and that the vaccine is showing effective, as those who are in the hospitals have not been vaxed.   It's really bad here and particularly nasty version of it is out this year.
