Mine is Janis Joplin's Bobby McGee.
My Grandfather loved Janis Joplin(he died 7 years ago on my birthday..my birthday is coming up in two weeks) and it makes me cry every single time I hear this song because he used to sing it and my mom sang me "cry baby" when I was an older preschooler when I would get upset.
What is yours?
Feed Jake by the Pirates of the Mississippi.
When I was 15 my 10 year old cousin got in a wreck and passed away. He and I were close...he was my little side kick. He had a dog named Jake that ran away and one day that song played and he started crying. The morning of his funeral while I was putting my boots on, that song came on. I'm just not able to listen to it.
Who you'd be today by Kenny Chesney and If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away by Justin Moore. Those just remind me of all the ones I lost.
Quoting EVOnBINX:
don't take the girl. I don't know who sings it but its on my comp
Tim McGraw.
tears in heaven by eric clapton and almost lover by a fine frenzy
You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins.
and I Miss You by Miley Cyrus because it reminds me of my mom.
Back to December...my ex used to send this song to me all the time and tell me it was him talking to me...he wanted to get back together so bad. He passed away this past Oct.
Angie by Rolling Stones...my first crush used to call me and sing this song to me. We lost touch and got back in touch..he called me singing that song all the time again. We used to talk almost daily for years after he found me again...he was killed in a motorcycle accident.
