That's the drivel my DH seriously just told me!



He took DS for a bath. I heard DS crying. I went to find out what the hell was going on. DS was crying because DH wouldn't let him play with DDs play tea set in the bathtub! I asked why the hell he CAN'T play with it and he said because he doesn't like him playing with her toys, that they're too feminine! Then he said ds plays with her dolls and tea sets and it's going to make him gay!



I am pissed! We are going to have words as soon as the kids go to sleep, and I can't guarantee I won't cuss. I'm so fucking mad!

my friend is like that. she won't let her son read Junie B Jones books or play girl characters in games.

I know guys that played with barbies, dolls, and "girl" toys as kids and they are straight as can be.

My sons have never played with girls toys in our home, they look at my dd's dolls and sparkly stuff in horror as if it is going to infest their toys! 
I doubt my dh would be pleased if his sons decided to play with tutus or tea sets.

        My son wanted a doll, and I got him doll.

     He play with it 10 minutes, and went back to his Dump Trucks.

    I would think, making a big deal out of it

-Can cause "more trouble then anything".

  He does not need to hear you guys fussing about it.

my dh flipped when ds was pushing around dds baby buggy, i had to convince him he was pretending it was a wheel barrel so hed shuttup. i have no idea what my son was pretending it was, but i hope not a baby buggy, because if he ever drives a baby buggy like that with a baby in it, the baby is screwed. he was going straight up nascar on that thing. lol.
