Dds bday is on the 18th. My mom is off the weekend of her bday. Df was happy cuz dd is going to my moms for the weekend. Hos exact words were good we can have a weekend to ourselves.
I told him i wanted to go to the party this year cuz i stayed home with him and missed it last year. He starts up with his usual well if u go u cant go to any friends houses or any other famiky members houses or stay the night. Im like really? Its dds bday why the hell would i go to someone elses house?
Then hes like well i dont have money to go. I told him mom will pick us up and he says well maybe ill have to find a way to go.
He doesnt trust me and its getting in the way of my relationship with my family and friends. I live an hour or more away from all of them. The only contact i have with them is by phone or facebook. Im not allowed to call my friends and he accuses me of lying about what me and my mom talk about.

Why is your mom throwing YOUR kid's party?? That's your job honey. And very strange in itself. And then you're considering not going because of your piece of shit boyfriend?!!! And you didn't go last year?!! You are a shitty mom...and that's being nice about it.

He's controlling and trying to isolate you from your family. It only gets worse. RUN!

That's almost worse. Its not like you were trying to protect someone by not going to your own daughters birthday, you just chose not too.
