well she has, but only twice, she is on o2 and the o2 ppl told us we cant use soap or lotions (even baby) because it will react with the oxygen. Anyways she is getting craddle cap and i dont know what i can use on it. Its really bad on her eyebrows. Poor baby, it looks like it itches really bad. So if i cant use lotion, what else is there? It cant have fragrance(sp), alcohol, or protlem (i know i screwed that last word up). Anyways have any ideas? Also the dr adviced us not to give her baths except for every few weeks because its winter and not using lotion will cause really dry skin.

try some organic baby soaps/lotions. coconut oil or olive oil is great for the skin as is Shea butter.

What about olive oil? Can you rub olive oil on the cradle cap spots?

What about the cetaphil products? I think they meet your criteria of things you could use.

and for the record I've never consistently used lotion on my babies although I did consistently bathe them. the organic soaps are much easier on the skin.

Vitamin E capsules. Pop them open and rub the vitamin e into the cradle cap.

Olive oil or coconut oil. In old times they used it to bathe since fresh water was scarce.
