And one his social security checks came one week ago. Will I be able to cash that once I get a death certifacate thanks

You are suppose to send it back and mark deceased on the envelope. There should be a box to check on it.

No, my grandfather died march 17th and like a week later his va check was direct deposited into his bank account. My dumb fuck of an aunt spent the money so 2 weeks later the va reversed the charges and took the money out and the dumbass came crying to my dad that the account was now over drawn.


The money needs to be returned. Call them and explain he passed away.
