$500/ month? I have $500 to spend each month on groceries. I'm a SAHM and DH packs a lunch to work every day. We eat very little red meat. We do like chicken and fish. We aren't big fans of beans, but love rice. We do get wic for milk and a few little things. DD eats lunch at school. I eat all three meals at home. I have a crockpot.

I always go over by about $100 or so. Can you help me stay on budget? Share recipes?

Eta--no boxed stuff...no hb helper or Mac and cheese. Almost everything is homemade. We also buy organic as much as possible. Organic chicken is $5.99/lb. We also buy fresh fish and fresh veggies/fruits. Everything is low-carb because I'm diabetic.

I'm bad our grocery bill runs atleast $150 to $200 for a family of 3 a week ( more when oldest DS is home) so I'd be no help to you.
