your daughter gets pregnant at 16 years old by a 21 year old. the baby is born and the father refuses to help and support the child. the parents are now 17 years old and 23 years old. By state law you can still charge him with rape.

what would you do?

edit: dd moved out of state and wasnt aware that she was pregnant til 16wks. she just recently moved back. so it has nothing to do with being "okay" with it then and not now. nothing could be done with her out of state.

Take him to court for child support or have him sign over his rights. His choice.

No. You won't get support if he's in jail, and with that on his record, good luck EVER getting support.

Charge him. He's sick for even messing with a 16 year old in the first place. Let him learn some responsibility behind bars.

Well not trying to be mean but the sex was consenual from the way your post sounds and what good is it really going to do? If anything get him to sign his parental rights away.
