We've been talking quite heavily for a while now as to where I should go to college, and what I should go for. It's been a hell of a time. I'm so indecisive. Trucking, auto mechanics, paralegal... smh.
I just revealed to dh that this morning I was thinking on it some more, and no matter how much I think about the pros and cons of each subject... it always comes back to auto mechanics. So, here I go ladies! I'm about to call up admissions for the only local college around here that got decent ratings for their auto mechanics.... I'm nervous lol.
I've already toured the school, talked to them, and put in an application. Now I've just got to get the balls to finalize it all.

Auto mechanics is a field that is actually changing thanks to the advances in cars. I think it's great that you are going for it. It really sets a great example for your kids to have an educated, independent mom...never mind one that can fix a car!

tbh, I'm not sure. it's offered at a college, so I'm going to assume that it's not a trade school.
