i found a dead Caterpillar in my broccoli

just bought two broccoli crowns,went to cut them up for a snack and theres a dead caterpillar hiding in the middle of it. i threw out the whole head but im wicked grossed out and dont even wanna try cutting up the other one

 i know but i just feel like the whole thing is tainted now. i dont think i could ever wash it enough to wgere id eat it

That's pretty normal, especially if you buy organic. I refused to eat homegrown broccoli that my mom raises for this very reason!

things like that gross me out so bad.

im buying pre packaged broccoli from now on

lol don't be a baby. that happens in nature - be glad the broccoli wasn't pesticided into oblivion - thats a hell of a lot grosser than a naturally occuring catapillar.
