If you have a kid with a disability, why have more kids (possibly with a disability)? Doesn't your disabled child need all of your attention?

Is this coming from the post of the mom with 3 kids on SSI? I was wondering too.

I wouldnt want to have more.  But that's just me.  My son has an attachment disorder, so I feel he needs all my time and attention to get past it as his disorder isnt necessarily for life if treated.

That's me.  I don't judge others, I know everyone's situation is different and as an outsider I don't know all the details.

who is to say subsequent children will have any disability.

If you  have a child ,, why have anymore  shouldn't your existing child get all your attention?
