There is research being done into this topic. Scientists have found that certain hormones can bring on a euphoric state during the oncoming of death. There is no way to know until all of us kaput. And even then no one can tell you. I don't refuse to believe, but I don't claim to know it exists either.

I dont know if there is a heaven but i do believe there is an afterlife. After my mom died i got evidence that she was still with me. I couldnt doubt anything after that.

I was going to explain why I still don't believe in a heaven, but then I read the post and realized that you don't want explanations you just want to be insulting towards atheists.....

you have your beliefs and that's wonderful, but I don't believe in them with you. that doesn't make me ridiculous, it just means I have a different answer for all of the same questions.

Because they don't believe,  that is their right why do you feel the need to belittle what they do or don't believe?  They are as entitled to their beliefs as you are to yours!
