Would you be offended, or would you laugh?

I've been having some issues with my energy levels, I'm always tired and worn out. Well today I went to GNC and asked the employee what would help the most with energy levels. He handed me a box and I went up to the counter with it. As he was ringing me up, he started shoving a bunch of samples in the bag. I'm assuming you always get samples with a purchase because my DH is always bringing GNC samples home. So anyway, later on I looked in the bag and they're all weight-loss pills! At first I was a little upset and embarrassed. I'm a big woman, and I know I need to diet. This just seemed like my weight was being rubbed in my face, y'know? Well, after about a minute I got over it and started laughing. When you have an entire counter full of supplement samples and know absolutely nothing about the customer other than their physical appearance, I can't blame him for going straight to the diet pills, lol.

My diet officially starts tomorrow ;)

Knowing me, I would most likely be offended lol. But I would laugh at the same time. I can't take weight loss pills due to medications I take. But I would appreciate it still, then give them to someone else lol. Good luck with your weight loss journey.

Your energy is down because your weight is up.

Good luck on your weight loss.

OTT but, have you had your thyroid checked?   It can cause you to be exhausted and gain weight.

I was at GNC today looking for an iron supplement, but they were out, and the guy automatically tried pointing me to multivitamin that was 4x the price. Not what I wanted or needed. I hate the sales pitch and pressure of buying there.

I would have been offended and I'm not even overweight.
