My children have a very well known pediatric physician.. He was last year awarded the "Pediatric Doctor of the Year"
He makes house calls and on occasion can be seen in the office giving a young mother or father a lesson in proper body mechanics for a "Good Healthy Spanking" As a Matter of a fact he will not prescribe ADD/ADHD medicines.. He says in most cases a good spanking session will cure anything wrong with the connection between hearing and obeying!
I love my Childrens doctor. He is an old fashioned doctor..with old fashioned ways.

Hell I believe in spanking but he is a moron if he thinks that ADD is just a problem with the connection between hearing and obeying. I wouldn't only refuse to take my kids to such a quack, but I would report his ass.

what is his name, this seems very unlikely given that The American Academy of Peddistricts does not enforce spanking. I am a clinical therapist working with children in schools and within a large community mental health center, I would very quickly lose my professional license if I behaved this way.

I don't think that a pediatrician's place is to tell me how I should or shouldn't discipline my child.....their job description is DOCTOR *not* PARENTING COACH.
