What dress size do you consider average?

I am confused about what we are talking about.  What do I think an average dress size IS or what it should be?

7-8   Anything above a 12 is plus size.

Well that makes me feel great, my goal is to be a 10/12. Being a 3/4 is unrealistic for my height and I would look anorexic. But apparently you aren't taking height into consideration.

Average for me is 5/6-7/8 even though I don't wear either of those

So a woman who is 5'11" should still be a 3/4? What is sad is that people put so much emphasis on how a woman should look, causing young girls to have self-esteem issues when they don't live up to society's expectations. People come in all shapes and sizes. A taller woman is going to be a bigger size or she will look unhealthy. Size 3/4 would look unhealthy on me. What is sad is that people like you think a woman should look anorexic to be beautiful. That "model-thin" should be the norm.

I was severely underweight when I was a size 4. I have a large bone structure and huge boobs so healthy for me is a size 6/8
