I think it depends on the name.  Stupid spellings are one thing-Emmaleigh, Kartyr, and Dylaneigh will probably be alright,  But " Mar'Cayla An'Joel " is screwed.  And so is "Ja'Marcus. "

Absolutely. I will not choose a name too 'out there' or race specific. DD1 is Samantha, DD2 is Eleyna (Alanna)

I was a manager for several years. If I was looking to hire and had two applications in my hands, both with the same level of qualifications I would hire Aiden over D'Aiden and Olivia over Ohliveiah.

I only think it will with really hard to pronounce or really out there names. Ex hashtag, laqushonda, aariyqua.

I never really thought about it until my godfather approved of ds9's name.

"Good, that will make a strong, lawyers name."

I think a lot of people have preconcieved notions of names. We hear it and get a mental image of that person. But I never judged anyone on their name alone.
