When your child becomes too smart for their own good...it equals trouble!

Last night just before his bed time, while I was showering, I let him play on the tablet. To buy a game you have to enter a code in, so I thought I was safe. Well I was wrong, he figured out the password and bought $10 worth of games, last night! I am both impressed and mad that he did this. Especially because some of the games are SOOOOO STUPID!! and some he wouldn't be able to play because of his age and again I won't play either. Since I didn't check last night, the window to return them is over. :( Lesson learn, put a harder password on the tablet, that is AFTER he gets the privilege back of playing it again.

And a long talk about NOT BUYING GAMES WITHOUT MOMMY PERMISSION!!

Edit he is 5 year old

Ok happy with the title...gee it was just a figure of speach in the op I explained I wasn't going to do anything extreme to him. Nor would I.

How old was the kid?  Little kids shouldn't be on screens much anyway.

And did he know the rules in advance and what NOT to do.  They can't be punished if they didn't know exactly what they were doing.

It is totally lazy, but that is one of the things I love about the Kindle free time app. He doesn't even see the adds when that is on.

Call your service provider and explain what happened. They might be lenient.
