Suspended for sexual misconduct

So my son was suspended from school a few weeks ago for sexual misconduct. He mooned the girl behind him in the bathroom line. Smh. Sexual misconduct? Really??? He's 5. He doesn't know the word sexual or sex for that matter. I think that sometimes people take things way out of hand.

FYI before you bashers come out. We had a long talk about clothes and privates etc he won't do again.

What would u think if this was your child?

How would he know to moon them in the first place?

I've never heard of a 5 year old being suspended lol.

I think it's weird yes... but there are probably only certain things they can file it under, and this was the most accurate one they had.

That is crazy. My ex used to let the boys pee outside all the time. He saw it as no big deal, I have seen kids get in trouble for it, even in their own yard. People overreact now, not worth the risk.

While I wouldn't call it "sexual misconduct", I do think mooning a kid is deserving of a suspension, he needs to know that that behavior is completely inappropriate.

I doubt he knows the word "mooning" that's just how I classified it. He showed his butt in bathroom line

I would think the term "sexual misconduct" is ridiculous.

My dd was showing her butt (not sure if clothed or bare) at preschool. I was so embarrassed! I think that if it happened several time that it might warrant suspension. But once? Please.
