Allergic Reactions

Has anyone's LO had an allergic reaction to foods when you first started solids? What was the food? How did they react?

I started bananas with DD. She usually has a bowel movement every day but its been 2 days since her last. I'm thinking bananas are making her constipated. Would this be considered an allergic reaction?

Constipation is not an allergic reaction.

I think they do consider it a side effect of an allergic reaction because it is caused by the food. Just cut it out and see if it stops.

No and it's typical with bananas. I always alternated bananas with prunes with my son because bananas constipated him.

Bananas make everyone constipated. It's an integral part of the BRAT diet to stop diarrhea.
