The flu vaccine cannot give you the flu

The kind that is a shot in the arm, not the flu mist. The shot cannot give you the flu.

Many people mistake a cold for the flu. They come around during the same season.

The flu shot is not 100% effective, and you can get the flu even if you have had the shot, just be aware that the flu shot did not give you the flu. It will always be important to wash your hands.

Anyways, that's all. I don' t care whether you get the flu shot or not, I just want the facts straight.

End the myth, kwim.

Also to note, the "stomach flu" is not influenza. People just use flu as a catchall phrase for when they get sick in the winter time. If you have vomiting and diahrea with no fever, its probably not influenza.

You don't get the flu from the shot. but it does weaken your immunity briefly and you're more likely to catch something. Flu or not. Too many people get ill after getting the shot for that to be untrue.

Nevermind, you fixed it.

It doesn't give you the FLU but  some people do become sick for a short time. They may have flu-like symptons even though it isn't actually the Flu

I thought it strengthened the immune system. Same way getting sick and then better does. It introduces a dead strain so your body now knows how to fight it.

This is true! I am only interested in debunking the myths. So people who want to argue against the flu vaccine use intelligent arguements instead of false ones. :)

The flu shot is a inactive virus. The mist is a live virus
