Your is a possessive and you're is a contraction meaning you are

Along with than and then, and your and you're, is their and there and they're. It only takes reading what you've written to know if you got it right.

Both "your" and "you're" were used incorrectly in my sentence. As I said in my original comment, I was being facetious.
