How did you meet your DH/SO?

I'm a single mom to one DS. His dad is fairly involved so I have time to meet people every other weekend, but I don't know where to meet guys. I've been single for a while, and I'm lonely. I did meet a guy a couple of months ago, and things seemed to be great, but he broke it off...and now that I remember what it's like to be in a relationship...I miss it.

I'm not exactly beautiful. I guess I'm average..maybe below. I do take care of myself though..My body type is average (slightly overweight, but not too much). Guys seem to hit on me, but at the bars it's losers. I want to meet a decent guy, but I don't know how. So...how did  you meet?  Give me some hope!
