I think it's to help regulate your period. So they can track them

I only asked because I saw a post a while back about this girl who "strategically" skipped pills so she could get pregnant. I'm not into the idea myself but I was curious to see if anyone else may be wiser than me and explain how that could even be possible.

That seems counter-productive, but given the number of "i got pregnant on BC" stories on here, maybe itll work lol

How is that even possible? Would you stop right before ovulation? I feel so dumb asking these questions but hey, you gotta ask somewhere right? Lol

Yes.

Lol that's not the plan here but amongst a post I saw on here a while back and some research I've been doing since we decided to actively ttc again I noticed women with pcos being put on birth control pills to help them get pregnant. If it regulates their cycle, it's stopping ovulation and if they're not on it then ovulation is very unpredictable.. ( I think that's what I'm getting from all that info anyways lol )

Yes, this is a newer therapy. Is used now by some OB-GYNs as a way to even out hormone levels. They have found that some women who can not get pregnant are low on certain hormones to the point that they just don't ovulate.
