I wish people would quit saying this shit. Just bc people need extra help doesn't mean they're poor!!!

EDIT:
I have a family member who makes we'll over the income amount doesn't have kids and gets fs! Idk how but she does. A know a few other friends who don't need them but get it so they can use their cash for bar trips and shopping sprees! Not everyone on them are poor!!!

If you can't feed your own kids... You're pretty much poor.

Mostly yes if you qualify based on income you're pretty poor. It's a basic necessity. If you can't provide for yourself or your own kids you're poor.

One definition of poor is "needs extra help." That would mean yes, you're poor. You can call yourself "middle class" if you really want, though, it makes no difference.

LOL  I love when poor people refuse to acknowledge they are, indeed poor.

Question:  If being poor is so honorable and self-sacrificing, why isn't it cool to be poor?

Actually, it's the very definition of poor.

You may be rich in other things, but if you are not poor in money then you shouldn't be getting food stamps.

Well....if you had enough money, you wouldn't need it or qualify, would you?

Actually, it does. If you weren't poor, you'd use your own money to buy everything, including food.

Lol going to agree here.
What having FS does mean though is that the person isn't always lazy or uneducated. But poor...yes .
