I wish people would quit saying this shit. Just bc people need extra help doesn't mean they're poor!!!

EDIT:
I have a family member who makes we'll over the income amount doesn't have kids and gets fs! Idk how but she does. A know a few other friends who don't need them but get it so they can use their cash for bar trips and shopping sprees! Not everyone on them are poor!!!

Mostly yes if you qualify based on income you're pretty poor. It's a basic necessity. If you can't provide for yourself or your own kids you're poor.
