i really wouldnt mind if my children grow up to be gay or what their jobs are so long as they are good people. i could never hate my babies but i would be a little upset if my child became a republican.

LOL.  I am fairly liberal-but my kids get to be what they want.  My 15 yo ds is already showing distinct signs of Republicanism.  Drives my dh crazy (inside, he's not dumb enough to say anything out loud.)  But 19 yo dd isn't so smart-or nice-she picks on him and calls him a "dirty Republican."  I tell him he gets to vote however he wants.  So long as he votes, he makes his mama happy (I'm a PoliSci major) and I'll love him no matter what.
