My 2 year olds privates

Now I remember I was always an explorative kid. I was constantly touching myself and curious about private parts. Now my 2 year old is constantly trying to touch herself. She tries to put toys on her vagina and she knows she isn't supposed to because she tries to hide to do it and yells at me if I see her. I don't know how to get her to stop. Any ideas?

that makes sense, I only have boys and definately don't remember being 2. hopefully the pediatrician can shed some light on it. :)
