If there are a few dishes in the sink before bed, is that nasty? This is assuming they are rinsed.

I don't like going to bed with a dirty kitchen unless Im sick and cannot do it.
I like waking up in the morning and getting straight to breakfast! :)
But I also am slightly OCD when it comes to cleaning.

I am just being lazy. I mean, ALL I have to do is get the clean dishes out of the dishwasher and put the few in lol. It won't even fill the washer though. It's really not bad.

I didn't start using it until recently. I do both though. I do them by hand and use the dishwasher. I guess those few can be washed..but nah, I will just put them in :)

i dont have a dishwasher, i wish. but mine is a two skillets and a saucepan from cooking, two plates, a kiddie plate, a couple big cooking spoons, some silverware and a few cups. nothing major, one average hand wash load. doesnt smell. just looks bad, but idc. *shrugs* doesnt phase me none.

my sink has dinner dishes in it right now, they were lightly rinsed but probably still have residue on them. after dinner im full and lazy, ill do that shit in the morning.

I have so little. It will take less than a few min. to pop in the dishwasher(there are clean ones in there or I would have put them in earlie lol). I am being so lazy.

Nothing is piling up and smelling odd.

I don't think so, my husband is gone months at a time, sometimes when I'm trying to get the kids to bed I end up falling asleep with them, exhausted after the day. I always put the dishes away first thing in the morning.

I know. the horrors of the unwashed dish. its dh chore to do dishes, my preference is for hte dishes to be done before bed.... his is the next day. he likes to let them soak for 30 minutes so he doesn't have to scrub them (I just can't burst his bubble and tell him that doing them right after dinner will prevent having to soak them) and then he takes upto 3 hours to do 4 sinkfulls of dishes lol. and we don't have a dishwasher. he usually does them in the morning.

Thanks me too! Lol I wish there was but we moved just under a year ago and don't know many people out here so I'm pretty much taking care of everything on my own. I'm surprised I still have hair and some sanity. Two year old twins, an almost 8 mo and a big baby. Lol can't wait till we move back home in March!!

My kitchen is full of dirty dishes right now. I like to have it clean before I go to be but between my 3 young kids an husband who just had knee surgery last week I just don't have the energy to stay that on top of it.

That is understandable . I hope there is someone to help you out some, like bring buy a dinner or so. Hope he recovers quickly.

Maybe a tea cup. I hate plates in the sink anytime of day. I'm so ocd I even wipe out My sink after running the water. Plus we have a dishwasher.
