My son is 7. He never eats breakfast before school.

It's not that I won't make it, or don't allow him to. I ask him everyday and he says no. I even offer him money to eat breakfast at school and he says no.I have never been a breakfast eater either.

A friend of mine found out about this and made a huge deal over it. I think she over reacted. Like I said, if he wants breakfast I'll make him something no problem - but I'm not going to force him to eat if he doesn't want to!

I give it to him but he doesn't usually eat it.

He's not a breakfast person. Neither am I, actually.

My kids eat breakfast, though some days they eat more than others.  This morning I fed them but they didn't eat much.  I just told them they'll be hungry!  They are 9 and 6.  They'll eat a good lunch and be fine.

my kid says no when i ask a lot too..hes 8. i make him. if he doesnt eat breakfast he will be starving by lunch and not able to do as well in school. besides being horrible for you. breakfast is important. id talk to him and agree to something he will eat. smoothies, granola bars, a peice of fruit. etc

I offer my kids breakfast...most of the time they eat, but sometimes they don't feel like it.  I won't force them...

They eat lunch at stinking 10:15am and 10:45am...so in 3 hours they will eat anyway!

We always ate breakfast together when they were little, so that as they got older, it was just ingrained.  It truly is the most important meal of the day.

Gotta ask - are you overweight?

I'd push him to eat at least a few bites. Breakfast is important!

My 12 year old is nauseated every morning so he drinks an ensure if we have them.

My 3 year old rolls over and wants food before getting out of bed.
