do you think this would be hard to build?? come tell me if i have horrible taste in a dining set.
they are selling for $550 a set, and are handcrafted in saskatoon. i am sure thats not $550 worth of wood, so ...... how hard could it possibly be?? my mom built a big table just like this when we were kids, i'm sure i could do it.

click the ad link for better pics and more info, if you want
anyways love it or hate it? for a long narrow dining room with french doors to the patio at the end. put a long runner on it, some chunky funky candlestick holders,,,,,i think i would put more laquer on it than this guy has, and in a bit darker on the stain.

lol i fixed it, sorry 'bout that
Quoting -JC-:
I see a whole bunch of nothing.
Quoting Shermy:fixed, could possibly involve power tools lolBlank space? Nah, you got it.
Quoting mommyof11050307:i like the unobstructed veiw you get using benches. but....a leather chair on each end for mom and dad, viola! *mweh!* eh? lol
I like the table itself but I dot like the benches. I rather have chairs.
Quoting veronicamw:see how in the pic there are a bunch of thinner boards in the table? i would just go out and get two 3ft x 5ft planks, which are about 2in thick....ugh i night have to show you what i mean, but it's really very easy. and i always get the guys at homedepot to cut anything i need cut, lol
It takes a lot of work to make the wood. Like cuttingn down the tree. Plaining it shaping sanding staining and pu4ting it together.
