Ok I have a question.  My DH and I are looking at buying a house right now.  What would a round about house payment be on a 300,000 dollar home.  I can not figure out how they are working the payments.  I know insurance will be 200 a month and taxes will be around 300 a month.  So I was hoping someone with a simular home will be able to help

ETA: interest rate 3.34 and 0 down we are doing a VA loan so that will the the loan amount.

It depends on your interest rate also.

Do you know the interest rate?  There are mortgage calculators on the web that will help you figure out your payments.

3.34 I think.  I have tried the calculators but I get a different answer with every calculator.

It depends on your interest rate and down payment. The higher your down payment, the lower your monthly payment.

Depends on interest rate, term, down payment, etc.

Our house was \$295K and we pay \$2K and change each month. Our taxes are a lot higher than \$300, though.
