Cough! please help

Help. My dd is coughing constantly for about 2 days now and nothing seems to work. I've tried:
- vix and rub it on her chest, back, feet and put socks on.
- gave her honey with tea.
- gave her robbitussin for kids.
- gave her soup

I made an appt with her ped on monday... but i need something to atleast help her not to cough too much... please helpppp... any of you ladies knows any home remedies for this?

Shes 5, and she doesnt look sick, she is jsut coughing constantly... :(

If your doing the med route....mucinex kids melts work awesome. If your looking for more natural there is a holistic honey kids chest /cough/cold.

One of my close friends...had the same issue with her daughter...she took her daughter in and my friend isn't a

big fan of medications, and her doctor knows that, so anyways her doctor said you

can take diet coke pour it in a glassand use a spoon and stir it until it is flat,

then have her daughter drink a little bit. My friend did this and it worked for her daughter.

Humidifier. Or turn the shower on hot and steam the bathroom.

my kids just went through that,took them to the doctor Tuesday they did not have the flu but had strep so nothing otc worked they had to have antibiotics.hope she feels better

 This. Make sure you run it for a good couple min before you even go in there. It's  like a steam bath. She's probably coughing because she has post nasal drip douwn the back of her throat. Kids mucinex works good too, if she's old enough.
